HABITAT is a collection of songs about modernity, the modern project and how it feels to live in it.
This project has been on my mind for several years. It started with songs on the same subject matter, that somehow required an orchestra. The past two years I’ve been focusing och making it a cohesive collection of songs to play live.
2024 – 2025 I took a year of from work to really focus, through a song writing course at Biskops Arnö folk high school. There, the project has come together with a whole concept, finished songs and scores for a small orchestra.
The songs are some kind of orchestral pop songs with a clear sense of musical theater. The songs are demos. The dream is to perform the songs live with an orchestra, and I am currently applying for grants to make that happen. Join the newsletter or subscribe to get updates.

Demos of the songs
Here, you can listen to demos of the songs. They are just that, crude versions to get the idea across. The real songs happen live.
Do you really know (ft Sara Stenman on the flute)
Like a river can’t be turned (ft BEA on vocals)
Why doesn’t your heart break?
Falling like a bird (ft Sara Stenman on backing vocals)
I can breathe
Out of our hands / Call it a need
Hold your breath
